[If at some future time this volume provokes pleasurable recollections our purposes will have been accomplished, Page } 101207 Dedication To Miss Minnie Shockley, Dean of Women in appreciation of her sincere interest in the welfare of the students. This Volume of The Ranger is respectfully dedicated, Pawe ¢ Miss MiInNir SHOCKLEY Dean of IHomen Page § J. P. Barrenevera, President. President Battenberg came to the helm of Northwestern in 1919. During the six years of his administration he has come to be numbered among their friends by a host of students. His genial disposition and efficiency as a school executive will long be an in- spiration to those students who go out from Northwestern this year to take their places in the affairs of the state. The staff feels that they are voicing the sentiment of the entire student body and the alumni when we express the firm belief that sueceeding years under his ad- ministration will be even more beneficial for the school than the past.
