During the skiing season many N.lXI.C. skiers were seen on the hills ol our local ski areas, and trips were made to Briar Hill at Mesick lor the ski-jumping contest and to Udell Hills at Manistee for a day of skiing. Since N.M.C. is located in the heart of a ski area, student interest is very high. The Ski Club's aims are to help the students interested in skiing to improve that skill, to aid the new skier with techniques of the skill, and to promote skiing as a sport on campus. During the year the club sponsors, with the help of the College Council, the Snow Brawl. College students from Flint and Alina colleges took part in the Ski Out and races were held at Hickory Hills. 40
