College Council President: Bob Ort Vice President: Jim Leffew Secretary: Shari Mfardell Treasurer: Steph Fiebing As the governing body of N.M.C., the College Council appropriates the Activity Fee each term to the Nor'lfVester, the Campus, the Cultural Fund and the Athletic Board. Mfith co-operation from various clubs the Council sponsors the fall Mixer Picnic, the winter Snow Brawl, and the spring Mixer Picnic. Both the winter and spring formals and Campus Day are also sponsored by the Council. This year a Cultural Fund was developed for the first time. Mfin Stracke, a folksinger, was enjoyed by the student body during the fall term, with Studs Terkel and Guy Carawan being considered for programs during the winter and spring terms. The five sophomore representatives and three freshman representatives of the Council were busy throughout the year conducting business concerning parking lot regulations, music for the new cafeteria, and revisions to the Council Constitution.
