1 I 44 1P'5 '4 IILIIIUI EVENING IN PARIS One of the main highlights of the year was the Junior-Senior Prom and Banquet. This annual event was held April 30 in the high school gymnasi- um. The evening began with a banquet held in the cafeteria. Class presi- dents made short speeches, and mu- sical entertainment was provided. Then the big thrill came as the girls ,in their pastel formals , and the boys dressedintheir very best, filed into the gymnasium. It no longer was a basketball court, but an actual scene in Paris. This scene consisted of the Eiffel Tower, a Sidewalk Cafe, a Flower Garden, a Water Fountain, and an orchestra playing romantic tunes. Dancing s oon began and an Evening in Paris was enjoyed by all.
