PRINCIPAL ' S MESSAGE Mr. George R. Davis This year marks the end of the happiest time of my life -- fifteen years as principal of Northwestern High School. During that time the school has doubled in size, and I hope in its effectiveness as an institution shaping the lives of young people. Many dedicated school board members, teachers, pupils, and school patrons have made our present school a reality. My hope and prayer is that our school shall continue to be a true educa- tional instrument touching the mental, physical, and spiritual lives of the youth of the community. Remember: Success is getting what you want, but true happiness is wanting what you get.

DEDICA TION There are many reasons why students appreciate a teacher. Among them are a friendly disposition, a sense of fair play, a true interest in his subject, and a willingness to give generously of his time to his students. We, the Seniors of 1966, wish to dedicate our Panorama to a teacher who combines all of these qualities and many more, a truly good teacher, Mr. Darrell Rider. Mr. Rider devotes many hours of his time to the bookstore.

Assistant Principal EFFICIENCY Mr. H. J. Whitmer, assistant high school principal, handles such deverse problems as club activities, dis- cipline, and attendance. School Secretaries No office or school can function without competent secretarial help. Our cheerful office staff is made up of Mrs. Marsha Miller who handles the bookkeeping of the high school and Mrs. Phyllis Hedrick who is responsible for the corporation books.
