SUPERINTENDENT WILLARD KIDDER Bachelor of Arts Master of Arts Western Michigan University Again we pause to review our attain- ments during the past year. It has been a year of continued growth. One in which we have seen the total school program grow in stature and breadth. The several departments have expanded their activities and'have presented pro- grams which indicate progress and re- finement. Even though our system is young in years, it has begun to assume its place as an educational institution. It behooves us to continue to meet the challenge that our rapidly changing so- ciety of today demands of us. You should take a look at yourself in the light of your future plans as you approach graduation. l hope that now you will evaluate your ac- complishments and plan your final year of high school so as to attain the highest de- gree of efficiency with which to meet your future endeavors. It is with great pride that we receive this, our second annual, and note the a- chievements which our school and students have attained this past year. Not only do the faculty and students deserve our congratulations for the part which they have play- ed in the year's success but the annual staff, as well, merits our Commendation for the way in which they have chronicalled our school and its events. May we all re- view the past year with pride and look to the future with our sights raided to ever higher standards. May NORTHWEST HIGH become synomymous to us with the very best of every facet of school life and may we always be proud that we were privileged to seek our education here.
