Fairtime Fun Fair Week was, traditionally, a very wet week. However, spirits were dampened very little. The competitions, rides and games entertained while musical groups lit up the stage. The Seniors as well as the Juniors had class stands. The events of the week enlightened us all and showed that Albion can pull together even after a crisis. Dianne Leicht, 1984 Albion Fair Queen, crowns the 1985 Queen, Tracy Tomlinson. 1985 Fair Queen, Tracy Tomlinson, and her attendants, Becky Gollmer, Rosie Surovick, and Louise Murkens. 8 On the opening day of the Fair, September 10, 1985, Elementary students released balloons with cards at- tached, thanking recipients of the balloons for their support during the recovery from the tornado disaster. Jim Klobusnik shows just how much his tractor can pull.

Monika, AFS student from West Germany, lived with the Porter’s during her stay in the United States. AFS Monika enjoyed a true American Christmas Monika celebrated Northwestern’s Homecoming. Dear Students and Faculty, I want to thank the school for the great times 1 had. The teachers and students helped me a lot. Thanks for the patience of everybody for answering when 1 didn’t know words or understand something. And I’m glad to learn something about football, it was a pleasure to watch such a great team. I also enjoyed watching basketball. I’m glad that I had the possibility to visit this year. Moni Monika spent much time with her American family. Cats Come Home Homecoming Week was a big thriller. There was the annual Bon-Fire on Thursday night that was won by the Sophomores. Then during school on Friday, there was an assembly to vote for your choice of Home- coming Queen. Later that night was the football game against Girard followed by the dance. This years Homecoming queen Steph Carr and her attendants Cheryl Glasl and Crissi Merritt. The Juniors hoist the Yellow Jacket to its Fiery death. The score of the game was Northwestern 49- Girard 7.
