 CRANESVILLE FOR A CODE 1- CORNER OF LEXINGTON AND OLD ALBION ROAD-BUS OVERTURNED was the first call to go out. Shortly afterward ambulances and rescue equipment from Cranesville. Albion. Platea. Girard. Edinbor- o. Springfield and Conneaut. Ohio were in route to what they thought to be a major disaster. Once they arrived at the scene they were relieved to find out that it was only a mock disaster drill. Even though it was only a drill the firemen set about their duties as if it were the real thing. Approximately 30 Northwestern High School students were made up to look like accident victims. The students were given first aid and many were actually transported to a local hospital by ambulances. Most of the students found it exciting to be part of the training exercise. 13
