If It’s A Football Game It Might Be A Friday Night A big win over Erie County Co-Champion North East highlighted the season for the 1979 edition of the Northwestern Wildcat Football team. They knocked the Pickers in the first game to start things off right, but injuries and confusing weather left the team 4-4-1 in the end. Twice during the year, games planned for one date were rescheduled due to extreme weather conditions. It was a confusing season to say the least.
