The industrial arts curriculum consists of an exploratory junior high program and a well- rounded series of unit shop courses in the Senior high which takes in advanced work in electric- ity, electronics, general metal, mechanical drawing, and wood. SCIENCE Mr. Twardowski. Mr. Dovsnsky, Mr. Molsky. Mr. Cassidy. Mr. Clinger. The science department is organized to challenge all students at all grade levels. Its aim is to make each student think, plan, and organize to the best of his ability in order that he be a fine, contributing American.

Miss Mershon, Miss Kingsley, Mrs. Stahlbaum. “Mathematics, the queen of the sciences,” sparks logical thought, problem solving ability, precision, and creativity. America’s future world position can be traced, as much as through progress in government and human science, in the parallel progress of her practical scientists and theoretical technicians — the mathematics students of today. LANGUAGE Miss Kenney, Miss Scalise, Mr. Horn, Mrs Sabol, Miss Paulson. The facility of speech and of writing is a treasure greatly to be desired. The poise and the self-confidence gained through speaking and writing experiences will enable each to take a responsible roll in community affairs as well as to enrich the individual’s personal and voca- ]5 tional life.
