To the 1963 Graduates: It is with a feeling of humility as well as pride that we con- gratulate you upon your graduation . The pride comes from having worked with you, and from having experienced your fine Mr. Charles C. Gilbert loyalty and your co-operation. The humility comes from within us; it is best expressed in the question, Have we let you down?” In our American society, we believe in the worth and the integrity of the individual is master of his fate.” As we look upon you, our product, we hope that you will accept this tradition, that you will demand progress rather than waiting to have it imposed uponyou by an outside source, and that you will accept your responsibilities and obligations fearlessly and courageously rather than accepting easy, pre-determined solutions.
