Mr. Cook: COACH We, the 1960-61 Del Nord-Ovest Staff, proudly dedicate our third edition to you. This is a rather insignificant gesture of recognition in comparison to the many services you have rendered us in your years at Northwestern. You have dedicated yourself to us and to our school. £ut September 9, I960! The students of Northwestern High School wish to extend a special thanks to the many citizens of the community, who individually or through the various community organizations have helped to make the I960 football season one that will be long remembered. The Boosters Club, under the leadership of President Floyd Valentine, worked long and hard to get the field in shape for the first game. The men of the Penelec, the Bessemer Railroad, and the Roger Brother Trailer Cor- poration were instrumental in this project. It is with sincere gratitude that the faculty and student body of Northwestern High School acknowledge the efforts of Congressman Stanley Blair and Roger Brothers for obtaining and transporting the bleachers now installed at the field.
