During the school year of 1959 - 1960 the Northwestern Parent Teacher Student Association programs were planned to bring a better understanding between the home and school in order to secure maximum benefits in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education, Some of the activities of the year sponsored by the Northwestern P.T.S.A. were: Prize winning centennial float- Jacksons Crossroads Schoolhouse. Welcome breakfast for area teachers. Serving of the Alumni Banquet. Sponsoring of the annual Christmas Dance for the faculty, families, and students. j Presentation of a trophy at the junior High Holiday Tournament. j Third annual Prom to Dawn. Open house and departmental displays. I Presentation of the P.T.S.A. Scholarship. 1 The Northwestern P.T.S.A. wishes to thank everyone for his co-operation through- out the year and to tell you we were very proud to have the opportunity to serve the X school and the students.
