Aside from being involved with cheering at pep rallies, the Pep Club also provided many services to Northwestern stu- dents. etween Student Body and Faculty 'tw 1 Student Council The Student Council, being the basis for student government at Northwest- ern, undertook various responsibilities and activities which related to every student throughout the year. Under the leadership of Harry Hicklin, presi- dent, and Mrs. Sue Hilton, sponsor, the Student Council is made up of homeroom representatives, senators and class officers. Besides attending conventions in Hanahan, Spartanburg, and Camden the Student Council sponsored the Knobbe Shoppe and conducted teacher appreciation day.
