Students Take On Responsibility Jr. Achievement and Bus Drivers Transporting students to and from school is the main concern of North- western's bus drivers. This responsi- bility must be undertaken by a student who is willing and able to maintain safety along the highway. Interested students take a bus drivers training course each year. If they succeed in their efforts they are given a bus, a route, and the responsibility of getting their fellow students to and from school safely. The business world has opened its doors to Northwestern students through the Junior Achievement pro- gram. Students involved in this pro- gram are exposed to the challenges and problems that they will encounter in the business world of the approaching future. Thus, that whole fantastic week exemplified the pride and unity which our motto implies. lnterclub Council Officers: Lenee Kirkpatrick and Wayne Hefney. 9 Page Eighty Six

Science and Health Careers Club Prior to this year, the Science Club and Health Careers Club operated as separate organizations. Since the clubs were closely related, they com- bined in order to give students oppor- tunities to express their talents in each area. The primary concern of every member is to explore the science world and to learn of the many fields in health services. An observation trip to the hospital along with speakers of various profes- sions were highlights of the year. Club Investlgates Health ai?
