Pride Week Rock-n-Rolll Students and faculty rocked around the clock all day at Northwestern on Fabulous Fifties Day as everyone dressed up to recreate Those Happy Days . The gym shook as students went to the hop', in the gym and twisted the day away. In addi- tion to the twist contest, students also competed with Hula Hoops. Pride Week Comic Book Characters , Heroes, and Idols Comic Character's day converted Northwestern into a magical world of costumed students. Bugs Bunny asked What's Up Doc? as Frank- enstein stalked the halls. The God- father controled the office and the Lone Ranger yelled Hi-ho Silver as he fought off wild Indians. Dorothy and To-To under the good witch ofthe North's spell traveled to Oz. The Har- lem Globetrotters dribbled down the halls until Zorro stole their ball. Min- nie and Mickey Mouse, Shirley Tem- ple, Donald Duck, Barbra Streisand, Wilma Flintstone, Atom Ant . . . the list goes on and on but students re- mained their favorite characters for only a day.
