AFJROTC The ROTC color guard performed at various school and community func- tions this year. Not only did they par- ticipate in halftime activities but they also served as honor guard for Presi- dent Gerald Ford's arrival and depar- ture on October 19, 1974. Northwestern's AFJROTC engaged in many activities and tours. They journied to the North Carolina Air Na- tional Guard in Charlotte and flew from there to the North Carolina Mountains. They rode on a C-141 Jet Aircraft around Charleston, and they observed some ofthe parts at the Tele- dyne Metal Factoring Plant in Monroe, North Carolina. ll Colonel Byrd and Sergeant Fox. 23 The Drill Team presents our colors with a Queen Anne salute. 33 Color Guard members: Cadets Elaine McCullough, Charles Bratton.
