The Field of Science As the field of science steadily ex- pands. the Northwestern Science de- partment does likewise. Such courses as Botany. Cell Biology, and Animal Structure are offered in the Biological Sciences. ln Botany, field trips were planned which led to a more indepth study of the structures the students were currently studying. Cell Biology offered the students a chance to learn .. more about the cells which make up ' ' X the human body. In Animal Structure .3 if i advanced dissections were planned to s broaden the students' interests in the structures and functions of the vari- - ri ous parts ot' an animal's body.
