Several changes have been made in course of- ferings and course credits. Students taking speech and drama courses, such as Technical Theater, Basic Drama- tics, Sounds of the English Language and Communication I 84 ll, received elective credits rather than English credit. During the second quin, Northwest- ern was fortunate to have Dr. Petti- grew, a professor at Winthrop, teach Advanced Short Stories.
