There are about 25 students in the program this year. The students meet after school each week, sometimes to discuss business matters and others to listen to speakers from various C i Q a professional fields. ' BT--A Nh? r I recommend these crackers if you're on a budget. The Move D.E.C.A. is a career oriented co-curricular and classroom centerial group. The students who competed in Saginaw for the State Regionals were Kathy Charles, Vera Lowery, and Twila Leather- man. Kathy Charles was the only one out of the three to go to the state finals, which were held in Dearborne, Michigan. The contents of the final were: Advertising Service, Apparel and Accessories, Finance and Credit, Good Marketing, Good Service, General Merchandising and Petroleum Marketing Methods. Club V.I.C.A. Club, fVocational Industrial Clubs of Americaj is sponsored by Mrs. Margaret Wasburn here at Northwestern of which there are 100 members. Membership into the club requires that all students be enrolled in one of the Health Occupations Cluster. The main purposes of the club are to develop leadership skills and to unite all students in a common bond enrolled in trade and industrial education. The V.I.C.A. Club took trips around the state of Michigan and explored different fields of Health Occupations education. This year they visited ,Hurley Medical Center, the Lansing State Capital, The Sloan Museum and the River Bend Nursing Home.
