A new team of runners were introduced to Northwestern High School's Cross Country Team this year as only two runners returned from the previous team. This years team consisted of 2 Sophomores, Paul Miller and Roderick Bradshaw. The juniors to run on this years team were Ronald King, Harold Robbs, William Walker, Joseph Yearby, Gary Stewart, Angelo Bradshaw, Tony Dantzler and Keever Williams. Next year's team looks to be one of the school's best as the team this year place 4th in the City Meet and 5th in the Valley Meet with an overall dual meet record of: won 1, lost 4. The win came against Saginaw High here at NW with a 27-30 score and was our first victory in over 3 years. Northwestern's running franchise, Ronald King, made it to the State Meet which is the first time in the history of the school a student has made it to State. Ronald was also on the All-City Team and placed 15th in the Regional Meet.
