Quintillians Representing the Quintillians in this picture are: Tim Westcott Christy Vander Meer Joan Zwagerman Joan Olney Steve Branch Tom Heiman Denise Knudsen Lowell Van Gorp i Brian Bronzynski John Weygandt Quintillians is an organization open to all those interested and dedicated to drama and the related fields They keep very busy throughout the year with regular meetings and with all the work done in conjunction with the many excellent plays given each year. Alpha Psi is an elite group with a certain number of points needed to be earned before acceptance into this club can be obtained. These points are collected by working directly with the plays. The Student Senate is the governing body of the students and is very active with various committees and activities throughout the year. Members are elected from each dorm as well as commuters to serve on the Senate. The Senate also sponsors many social events on campus including dances, movies, and parties. Officers include Dave Van Gorp, treasurer: Nina Evans, social life chairman: Mel Wallinga, president: Denise Heemstra, recording secretary: Henry Te Paske, social life chairmang Deb Sinkey, corresponding secretaryg and Wendall Kampmeng vice-president. The Library Club consists of any students in library classes which usually consist of majors and minors. The club's sponsor is Mrs. Peg Juffer and the club meets informally throughout the year. Some activities this year were a picnic and a home-made ice cream party at the Juffer's. Majors gl Minors club this year gave all those men and women who had either majors or minors in Physical Education a chance to meet together, discuss, and learn about information concerning their future profession. Noon luncheons were held throughout the year featuring discussions, films, and speakers. Fellowship of Christian Athletes fF.C.A.J is an organization open to all athletes fmen and wornenj on campus. This year F.C.A. sponsored a Halloween haunted house and also sold popcorn balls at home football games to raise money. Regular meetings were held, giving each member a chance to grow spiritually and witness as a NW athlete. F.C.A.
