1 Teens Check Out NWC The 1984 Youth Conference was a big success, with over 220 high school students attending. The conference, held on the weekend of January 26-28, featured sessions with Toby Travis on the topic of dating. Entertainment was also provided with a concert by Brown Bannister, followed by an ice cream social. In order to experience college life first-hand, the prospective students roomed in the campus residences and attended classes. 1. The Youth Coherence students tit right in with the college students at dinnertime. 2, Paige McConkey, Nancy Hegtund, and Cindy Gray min¬ ister at the Youth Conference brunch. 3. - Sit Back And Relax (?) Weekends at Northwestern pro¬ vided a time for students to relax, en¬ joy entertainment, and catch up on homework. The wide variety of activi¬ ties provided included movies, sports, banquets, and concerts, as well as rol¬ lerskating at Saints-Rosedale every other Friday night. Ending the weekend with a time of unity and worship, students met on Sunday evenings for Sing J n Share. 1. Roxy Korporal, Julie Elisberry, Maureen Middleton, Misha Hunke, Margret Stratton, Judy Anderson, and Jennifer Juntunen discuss prayer requests at Sing Share. 2. Darrell and Debbie Toney bring NWC an inspirational concert glori¬ fying Jesus Christ, 3. Every other Friday night, the saints rollerskate at Sainls-Rosadale. 22 Weekends
