In Utemortam Only a few years ago Miss Hazel Hanson played, studied, and lived with us at Northwestern, She chose to serve Jesus Christ on the mission fields of earth. Now we thank Ilim for His love expressed through the giving of her life for the cause of Christ. Miss Hanson, a member of the graduating class of the Medical Department in 1919, chose as her favorite verse Isaiah 26:3—‘Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee; because he trusteth in thee 1 Death came to her and her missionary col¬ leagues in the crash of the airplane Tribesman, DC-3, on November 21, 1950, on Mount Moran. The airplane carried a human cargo of twenty- one missionaries and three crewmen. Even as she gave her life in death, may many students give their lives in service of devotion to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. 11
