For we were as sheep going astray.—1 Pet 2:25 The Scroll of 1929 endeavors to present: The Lord Jesus Christ as the One Who laid down His life for the sheep, that those who are lost may find in Him the Saviour and the Shepherd of their souls; Our school, that Christian young men and women may be led into the green pastures of His Word, by the still waters of fellowship with their Lord, and out into paths of joyous service for Him; Our associations with students and faculty, our con¬ tacts in classroom and dormitory, and our social and spiritual fellowship, that it may serve as a happy memory of our days at Northwestern— If God prospers it to this end, our purpose will be realized.
