Prof. A. H. Larson is in charge of the debating class work, and has also been appointed as school debating coach. Interest in debating was further stimulated by Supt. C. G. Selvig upon his presenting to the school a beautiful silver loving cup as a trophy to the Literary Society winning the intersociety debate three suc- cessive years. The Selvig Cup debates are to be made a feature of the Commencement Program each year. The following debating schedule has been arranged for the present year: February 8-Dual debate with North Dakota School of Science, Wahpeton. March I8-Dual debate with West Central School of Agriculture, Morris, Minn. March 27- Selvig Cup debate. Pioneer vs. Lincoln Club Debating teams.
