The year in which this TOWER is printed-and in which you are vitally interested-is a year in which a marked change has taken place in the curriculum of the college. The introduction of the general courses, in line with the best modern thought in progressive institutions, marks a dictinct step forward in the work which your college is doing for the people of Northwest Missouri. It is to be hoped that this TOWER will remind you not only of the good times you have had in Maryville this year, but also of the new things that were done to get you and your fellows ready for the more abun- dant life.
