With sincere respect, love, and deepest appreciation we, the Annual Staff dedicate the 1959 Rocketeer to COACH BILL OAKLEY. Our program of education in the United States is on trial today. Everyone seems to have turned critic and poses as an authority in the field of education. lt is my sincere hope that the student body of Northwest might always strive to follow our slogan which is only the best for Northwest, and by realization of this aim prove to the world that the youth of today will be equal to the challenge of tomorrow. The annual staff is to be commended for putting forth special effort to publish the largest and most complete annual in the history of the institution. l trust that this motive and theme will permeate the ideals of everyone, and that we shall in the future strive to realize bigger and better things for the society in which we are a part. My hope is that the ideals of the school serve' you well in the future. May the iudge of time be able to evaluate the work of you th today and give a final verdict of well done. My best wishes are yours and may the memory of days at Northwest be hallowed ones. R. D. Mclendon PRESIDENT film Mb 'fx v fr YM 56.1 Q ,JP , . rw.
