I understand that you want me to review the glories of the '30 Freshman Class. All I want is a chance. So lar, the genius and intelligence of the Fresh- man Class has been obscured by the repressive belts of the egotistical Sopho- mores. Had we not been permitted to write you this letter, the prowess of our class would probably never have been shown to the public. Even though we have quite a number of numbskulls in our class, we are still able to hold our heads above the water. One of the most noteworthy in our class is Freshman Nlclver, who has an uncanny ability to learn the VVriter's Handbook and to otherwise manipulate the English language. His daily grades and examination papers are the source of many smiles from his teacher and many times cause her to laugh out loud. Freshman Burns, better known as the Flame-Headed Flirt, has caused quite a bit of resentment among her female fellow students by her unrestrained use of get your man tactics. At present, Red is trying to think of so-me plan by which she can manage both her llflemphis fellow and her Senatobia fellow with- out conflict. Freshmen VVhitten and Spigener should be noted for their demureness and unobtrusive actions. Chigger Brown, since llunking examinations, has decided to go to South America with the United Fruit Company, which deals largely in bananas. Little llflack and Ferg did something cute, but we've forgotten what it was. It was probably unprintable anyway.
