VVe feel much older, for these two years have been filled to overflowing . with happy surprises, grave disappointments, and rich, though some- Y times bitter experiences. We faced a decided change when We found ourselves Freshmen again, after Our complete history is yet to be written: we wonder what will be inscribed in having held a place of prominence in our respective high schools. A class meet- ing was called and the result was wonderful. VVe had become organized, had a president, sponsor, and the other necessary officers, and were ready to start to work. Almost before we knew it, not only commencement had taken place, but vacation had come and gone and here we were in Northwest Nlississippi Junior College again. VVe came back not with that curious, expectant air of Fresh- men, but with that confident air characteristic of lordly Sophomores, the most dignified and important position of all. VVe had lost some of our members and had not such a large class as in the previous year, but we had also gained so-me new members from other colleges. VVC soon became organized again with Sara Lee lworris, president, Gladys Graves, vice-presidentg Lenore Shaw, secretary, George Brown, treasurer: and llliss McElroy, sponsor. We were justly proud of the athletic activities of our boys during that year and we felt that with a little more experience and training, many of them would make athletic history for some higher institution. As a class, we have tried by precept and example to show the other classes what it means to get an education andto instill in them the desire to reach out for the higher and greater things of life. Only a small part of our school career is behind us. VVe hope to go on and reach the summit of the educational mountain up which we have been climbing. its pages? 4f i 24- xe 41 f , I 5 .L - Q ,. at go r i 2 2 , f f? ,X 'A? ?y?'-3 -, , g get- Z ,ff 'if' if fix N V4 XJ yxx Y I ,i f 2 X Q K XV X e 9 Q gl 4, mf Xxtgfwmmflg f fi-vw!
