All The World's A Stage The Drama Club at Northwest is di- rected by Mary Petroski. The students meet twice a week, and they are cur- rently working on a play for the spring. This is an exciting and new activity for the school, because it gives the students a chance to be creative. Northwest has nev- er had the opportunity to develop a dra- ma club before, and Mrs. Petroski has . Shakespeare been a tremendous help in initiating the first Northwest Theater . The play is set in General Ski Hos- pital, and it is a Soap on the Slope . It tells of the daily life of hospital staff and patients, similar to a soap opera. Everyone has been working hard, and they all hope that the play will be a success. Mrs. Petroski assists cast members with their stage directions at a rehearsal. fAbovel Is that Dr. William Mahaney and his assistants at work on a ski accident victim? lRightJ Teachers are very often able to identify those students who are real characters and the drama club is full of those people. Fellow students are never surprised to find certain classmates acting up or out during class. The members of the drama club hope to develop some of their natural talent by acting on stage. Look at this group very carefully. We're sure you'll be seeing more of them in the future. Possibly they will be famous one day. Break a leg!
