Golf Team Grows Stronger Since taking over ttie golf program two years ago, Coach Rick Hook has put together a bigger and better team each year. This years team was led by senior Ken Brand and Junior Tony Swanson who together with their teammates worked to make a respectable and com- petitive team. The Vikings had a 2-2 dual record and finished sixth at Districts which was a vast improvement over last years tenth place finish. Qualifiers for State included Larry Brannagan in the 300 meter intermediate hurdles and the 3200 meter relay; Jeff Baxter, Roger Knight, and Greg Mora in the 3200 meter relay; Todd Olson and Jeff Boeka in the discus and shot put; and Dave Keil in the 3200 meter run.
