' We had a very successful season. I think Northwest is going to be a force to be reckoned with from now on. Three go to Omaha When spring comes, thoughts turn to track, one of the last sports of the year. Talent and attitude helped this years team gather two first place wins while achieving many other well earned placings. John Swanson managed to prove his ability by setting a new school record in the shot which qualified him for state along with Jeff Boeka in the shot and discus and Larry Brannagan in the 300 m low hurdles.
