Future Hews The Future Homemakers of Americii Club had a busy year. They had a fashion show in Ihe Learning Center. The freshman and advanced clothing classes made and modeled their clothes. February 9-13 was the annual F.H.A. Hero week. During that week posters were made by club members and hung around the school. Members also participated in Aerobic dance classes, helped sponsor the March of Dimes and worked on landscaping the school courtyard. The club also had a skating party and they invited other F.H.A. National Honor Society raised money for the Cerebral Palsey Telethon and as in the past, they brightened up the school with Christmas decorations. To be a member of NHS a student must have commendable academic achievements and maintain the four characteristics National Honor Society stands for - Leadership, Scholarship, Character and Service. The secretary, president and vice-president are quite involved in extra-curricular activities.
