New Principal Creates Positive Attitude -f- This year the student body was under the leadership of Clayton Luther. Mr. Luther is originally from Indianola. Nebraska. He has moved .several limes and hopes this to be his last. Mr. Luther has a lifetime hobby of jogging. Last year he ran for a total of ISOO miles. Mr. Luther also enjoys being with his family, which includes his wife, Marilyn, and four daughters, Kris ten, Laura, Kelli, and Linsey. Lie feels this has been an excellent year and that he has accomplished a great deal. Lie is looking forward to next year with anticipation. ADMINISTRATION: Eugene Taylor. Clayton Luther. Mr. Luther slips in a dance with Theresa Dozler. Tom Mattingly leaps over a Wildcat to put the finishing touches on a victory. Homecoming ' ' Magic ' ' Excitement which had built up during Spirit Week was released in an indoor pep rally to celebrate another Homecoming occasion. Exci- tement, with screams of joy, was definitely released when Northwest stomped over Superior 24-6. Climaxing the victory was the dance sponsored by Spirit Club. Red. white, and pink streamers helped to carry out the theme Magic . The tradition of crowning at the dance was broken this year, as King Brent Karley and Queen Joni Quandt. were crowned at half time. Homecoming Royalty and Attendants were Scott Redwine, Lesa Mettenbrink, King Brent Karley. Queen Joni Quandt, Lori Boltz, and John Bauer. 46
