Remember when we . . .? Laughter! Yeah! I do . . . we sure did some crazy things when we were frosh . . . how about our sophomore year . . . well, what about our junior year . . . but then there ' s this year, our big senior year! Now what? The Senior year is one of realization. Knowing there is no next year, no new buddies, no new teachers to harass. The high school days are a limited quantity. As each day passes, the seniors realize this will be their last Homecoming . . . last basketball game . . . last yearbook . . .last track meet. LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! Some may wait for that day with utter joy, and others will wait in ominous sadness. Freedom is a big word for the graduate. Knowing he alone will make all of his decisions. No more Career Education to help plan . . . no teachers to guide . . . no more principals to punish! Just the Graduate alone against the world! Shelly Gillham Dan Gruy Beckiey Gydesen Jim Harrison Janelle Harvey Jeff Hayes Dave Hein Jeff Hoffman Brian Hoglund Joe Houdek Future Olympiad Among Seniors Robin Irvine ' s dream is to someday be in the Olympics. After going to two training camps that dream seems all the closer. Robin started in trapshooting when he was ten. His grandfather is a trapshooter so Robin got his interest from him. Robin entered his first competition when he was fifteen. He placed first at that meet in the junior division. Since then he has received many more awards and trophies. One of the many honors was the right to attend an Olympic training camp. To receive an invitation Robin had to place in the top 15 at the regional meet at the Central Nebraska Gun Club in Doniphan. Not only did he place but he won, shooting 97 of 100 targets. Robin spent two weeks in Colorado Springs, Colorado in the U.S. Olympic training center. He was one of more than 200 shooters from around the United States who participated at the national meet. Walter Zobel, from Minnesota, coached Robin while he was there. All the hard work became worth it when Robin placed second in the final competition. Who knows maybe you ' ll see Robin at the Olympics in 1984.
