Stresses Sportsmanship. The Monogram Club is made up of students whohave earned a letter by participating in various sports, or connected with the athletic program in the school. It is an honorary athletic club with the objectives of pro- moting good sportsmanship, learning new games, and raising money for athletic equipment. Its projects in- clude intramural sports programs, and the sale of pro- grams at football and basketball games. This year the following boys were added to the list of members: jimmy Fearrington, Melvin and Bill Walker, Guy Flynt, Paul Hepler, Steve Crotts, Pete Johnston, Paul Snell, Tony Petree, Stewart Fisher, Eddie McKinney, Allen Tothill, and Neil Shouse. It is open to all boys who maintain at least aC average through out the year. A member must be formally excused from attending the meetings or he will be dropped from the club. Under the direction of Mr. Larrimore, the boys this year have enjoyed a Hi-Y basketball team which has played nine games with other Hi-Y teams. Ourboys have won three games and lost six.
