In early December three of our most outstanding class members were named.All-District football players. They were Kyle Copp, Kirby Hicks, and Mark Wallace. The long-awaited class rings arrived in late December, and plans for our Junior-Senior banquet were well underway. In February three of our best basketball players were named All-District. Royce Cannon, Dianne Holloway, and Beverly Banks received the honors. Memories Made to Last Forever was the selected theme for the banquet, which was held May 15, 1976. We needed responsible leaders and chose David Allen, presidentg Matt Andferson, eeprfsiiientg Kar lnln n Reidfsecrethryg, Teresa Stevenson, Treasurer: Janice Pennington, activities supervisor: auf libcggerfonmxacl lvitiei supervisor. Brenda Lund and David Allen were our class favorites this year. Our last hom cofhi g fwas very special to us and Luann Cate represented our class as homecoming queen nominee. In early December Kyle Copp, Kirby Hicks and Mark Wallace were announced as All-District football players. Then in early March seven outstanding basketball players were awarded All-District honors. They were Royce Cannon, Kyle Copp, Dianne Holloway, Julie Moss, PattiaMcDonough, Judy Green and Pam Green. We went to Austin for an all-day field triplon March 2 j 1977. By selling Key at football games, showing a movie in Denton, having several car washes and bake ball games against teachers, having: cartoons at activity period, and our Senior Play we raised enovighimoneiy tg ,.., cover our ttrip tio Galeeston Aprii'i2 i9, 1977. We graduated May 31. We shall never enter the halls of Northwest High School as students again.
