. W' When we entered school at Northwest in the Sth grade, we had 98 students in our class and only 10 teachers. Now we have only 81 students and 34 teachers. Here is a summary of the accomplishments we made as a class during the years. In the Sth grade we had a basketball and football team. Also, remember when the girls wore levis and slacks for dancing on Fridays? Our officers for the 9th grade were: President - Ted Briningstool, Vice-President - Bruce Davison, Sec- retary - Rosie Froman, Treasurer - Diane Bowzer, Student Council Representatives - Jane Fink and Wayne Mueller. We had a girls' basketball team and our first yearbook. We had a class dance called April Swing, with Joanne Finley and Dick Fullerton as our King and Queen. Remember that dance with the patio open? The 10th grade officers were: Bruce Davison - President, Mike Fullerton - Vice-President, Kathy Mc- Gill - Secretary, Gerald Jenkins - Treasurer, Student Council Representatives were Bruce Davison and Sandy Raymond. This was the first year we had a Varsity Marching Band and track team. For our class party we had one dance for the year. In the llth grade our officers were: President - Dick Fullerton, Vice-President - Wayne Mueller, Sec- retary - Carolyn Barnum, Treasurer - Arthur Greenman, Student Council Representatives - Jane Fink and Art Greenman. We held car washes and sponsored the coat check to raise money for the Prom. We also had a class party known as the Leap Year Hop or House of Blue Lights. Stairway to the Stars' was the theme for our Junior-Senior Prom at the Cascades Club House, We laugh now, as we think of all the trouble we had raising money for this event. 1 Now we come to the 12th grade, our last year. For this important year our officers were: President - Bob Cumberworth, Secretary - Joanne Finley, Treasurer - Dick Fullerton, Student Council Representa- tives - Nancy Eggleston and Bob Napier. We had the coat check, coke bottle booth and Senior hay- ride. We are proud to say Lois Thomas was chosen our Homecoming Queen. And, of course, we had the most cherished - Our graduation activites - Fun Night, Banquet and all the rest. To help us through all these years were our sponsors, of whom we are very proud - Mr. Ralya and Mrs. Bunce for grades 8-11 and Mr. Ralya and Miss Nisley in our Senior Year. Now, as we review these years, we realize how fast the time has flown. It seems like only yesterday when we entered Northwest High School the first year it was open. Now, we leave five years later, older and wiser. We wish the best to the underclassrnen and hope that we have been an inspiration to all of you to work hard and do your best. We know we will never be able to repay our faculty for the help they have given us to build our foundation for the world we are about to enter,
