Mr. Curl, Coach The cheerleaders and crowd gave a lot of moral support to the various teams. The cheerleaders are to be commended For their fine cheering whether we won or lost. The Northwest Sports Department tallied more losses than wins this year, but our competition was keen and the Mounties sur- mounted many odds to make the wins they did. The football sea- son was most successful with 3 wins and 4 losses. The reserve team looked promising in their first year, although they had a total of 5 losses, many of them will be competing For varsity positions next year. The varsity basketball team had an average of 5 wins and l2 losses. The varsity entered the tournaments and played the best they had all year, making their school very proud of them. The reserve basketball team, who looked considerably better this year, averaged l2 wins and 5 losses.
