Freezing at football games? Your first date? Your favorite teacher? Crying at graduation? Homeroom Announcements? Big Mac Attacks? Candies ? MM ADMINISTRATION From The Principal’s Desk Every School Year is decidedly different-arid that is what makes life interesting. have had the opportu- nity to talk to many of you in some capacity; and I hope that in my contact with you. I have impressed upon you one basic belief that I have. That belief is that each person is ultimately responsible for his actions. Tony Baretta said. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time. This can also be applied to positive actions as well as negative ones. You. as an individ- ual. are ultimately responsible for your actions. Don't be afraid to accept the results of your behavior. It is so easy to blame someone else for everything that goes wrong. It is always easier to blame a teacher for correcting you than it is to see that you were not obeying the rules. I firmly believe that the administration, faculty and staff at NWG are in your favor and have your best interests at heart. No one is out to get you. Learn to see the whole picture of any situation and to accept your share of the responsibility. By doing this, you are well on the way to becoming a responsi- ble adult. Jerry E. Bryan Principal Time is God's gift to each of us. We all receive the same amount at the beginning of each new day. The way we use this precious gift will affect us not only for the day but also helps shape our future. It is my hope that each of you grasp this gift and use it wisely throughout your days and years at Northwest Georgia High School. Lloyd Gass. We could not have asked for more dedication and hustle-, and with this same type of play, the future Wolverines should be very successful. The Sweetheart Dance held each spring is a highlight of the school year. Many FHA members take part in the Wedding staged by Ms Zip- perer's Family Living class in May. Whenever a bountiful buffet is in order for Homecoming, special events or visitors, the FHA always makes NWGHS proud. Each year Ms Zipperer's Family Living class studies the many different facets of living together in a family. In the spring, the class presents a wedding utilizing the customs and traditions they have studies in the unit on mar- riage. This is always a very beautiful event and Invitations are always gladly accepted. 107 Calendar Girls Winter NOVEMBER, DECEMBER. JANUARY. FEBRUARY. Terry Gifford, Jeanie Tomlinson. Dedication We. the staff of the 1981 WOL VERINE, dedicate this year- book to our sponsor, Monty Hysinger. We love her wit, unique personality and her ability to see the extraordi- nary in the most commonplace and mundane. Without her loyalty and dedication, there would be no yearbook. When we think of Ms Hysinger, a former Cook of the Week , we are reminded of a few of her favorite things: tomato plants: cheese logs, homemade ice cream, country mailboxes, cardinals on birdbaths babies, werewolves, vampires, and other creatures that go bump in the night, Irish ballads, CESA workshops, pig s noses, graceful walks, Sheila Wright's green dress, year-round Christmas trees, the THP, Cokes and Kools. Hysinger, we have just one question . . .
