Most students didn't eat breakfast, so cinammon rolls in the cafeteria, club bake sales and the mat maids daily donut sales by the gym were much appreciated. Some people simply starved all morning as they looked forvvard to the best part of the day-joining friends to go out to lunch. But preparing for school vvas a has- sle one just couldn't avoid. With various uniforms, T-shirt days and Oklahoma's unpredictable weather, trying to keep up with Hjust the right thing to wear turned into a big guessing game. 24 Friendship A salute to the joys ot friendship was the traditional Knight and Lady of Friendship assembly February 16 in the gym, bedecked in Valentine red for the occasion. Seniors nominated their triendli- est classmates, and the winning couple was chosen in an all-school election sponsored by Student Council. Climax of the assembly vvas the announcement of the winners, Danita Foster and Monroe Bird, and their coronation.
