Student Lite Elections Stir Students usual as students rallied to choose Student Council, class leaders and cheerleaders for i967-68. The new voting card, substituted for lD's, proved popular. Colorful campaigns inspired a larger turn- out at the polls than anticipated after the previous year's apathy. Practically every spring day brought announce- ments over Central Sound advising a proud student body of new Knight achievements. Therese Cabell, crowned City Princess ot Print, was the third Northwest journalist in as many years to win the title. Candidates from 14 area high schools competed. Our Hearts Were Young and Gay, a light, ro- mantic comedy, was the final all-school play produc- tion March 17-18. Veteran school actors, Randy Fitz- patrick and Monty Lewis, turned in stellar perform- ances in their dramatic swan songs.
