Student Life Tempo uickens at Mid-Way Mark THE NEW YEAR prompted a new round of special events as Knights marked the passing of first semester and faced the final phase of the school year. To seniors, this halfway mark was particularly sig- nificant. When pre-enrollment forms were distributed in January, seniors were oddly thoughtful for several days. School groups continued to grow and develop. Cherished traditions were perpetuated, new prece- dents established. Several repeat performances of previous successes stemmed from popular demand. The drama depart- ment presented its second children's theater produc- tion, Land of the Dragon, featuring colorful sets designed and constructed by stagecraft classes. The PTSA sponsored another panel discussion on teen problems with questions being submitted by the audience. The social season was highlighted by annual events: Distributive Education employer-employee banquet and the Mardi Gras ball, sponsored by Courtesy Club. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief when final ex- ams were over the last of January, and thoughts quickly turned to the final whirl of activities. ADMIRING her Raggedy Ann playmate Bob Rea, at the Courtesy Club masquer- ade ball, is Gayle Anderson.
