All forty-nine clubs and organizations chose service proiects. The Hi-Y collected enough food to provide for a needy family almost a month, numerous groups sent carolers to homes and hospitals, Key Clubbers rang bells for the Salvation Army, and Red Cross enter- tained underprivileged children. The art department transformed the school into a winter wonderland glowing with Christmas spirit. Drama and music departments provided impressive programs, and Knights went home for the holidays with the blessed, warm feeling that comes from the unselfish, generous giving of oneself to others. None could forget, however, that finals were fast approaching, and students, hopeful of squeezing in some studying, carried home carloads of books.
