Y-TEENS, high school branch of YWCA, sponsored by Mrs. Ra- mah Miller has increased its mem- bership this year as a result of the opportunities offered by ac- tivities hour. Their program is designed and developed on three phases of per- sonality: social, physical and spir- itual. Service to others plays an important part in their organiza- tion. Participating in the Youth in Government Program, World Service Program and in the Hi-Y all- City basketball league, Northwest Classen's HI-Y made an outstanding record for itself. The boys get together at least once a year to spend a day at Turner Falls. Also the club goes to church as a group one Sunday each year. Mr. Landes Horton sponsors its activities. .,.23..

During their meetings, they discuss topics ranging from the electric typewriter to good grooming. Before Christmas they deal with the requirements of their respective job connections. D. E. Club activities contribute to members' civic training. Miss Beth West directs activities ofthe club. do, by doing. had a lesson on package wrapping. Higher secretarial training is encouraged.
