One year of physical education is required for gradua- tion. The athletic program is designed to train in ideals of teamwork, sportsmanship Stu- dents are encouraged to acquire enough pro- ficiency in individual sports to provide a source of recreation and pleasure after they leave high school. No one sport receives special emphasis.
