I know no way to judge the future but by the past. An appreciation of HISTORY and WORLD PROBLEMS and ability to understand ourselves and our neighbors, permits us to become better future citizens. Students aware of their nation's heri- tage and the achievements of our forefathers strive to emulate qualities of leadership. At Northwest Classen, American history, World history, World problems, social problems, psychology, government and student govern- ment, train toward intelligently assuming responsibilities and obligations to be met in a new and little known atomic age. We had no lamp of experience to guide us. We are pioneering in a great new educational adven- ture-our own Northwest Classcn. May our efforts establish a firm foundation.
