SENIOR PROPHECY qconwy I went to see The Great Haydon, Monday. He's another Houdini! Cliff's manager is Mrs. Shrock. That woman has nerves of steel--but then she'd need them to manage Cliff! I took my neighbor's little boys to see Santa. You'll never guess who Santa was! . . . Ha, ha, you heard?. . .isn't he a scream with those pillows in front? Oh, that Stan Dieterich was always such a card! At the circus last summer I saw Francis Ryan's animal act. Clyde Beatty was so iealous he shot himself! . . .and say, as I was leaving the circus grounds, I met Joyce Phinney. She's in- vented a soap with the new miracle ingredient, Dirt. lt's for clean people who have nothing to do on Saturday nights. Marlene Decker's a big star now! She's on the Edgar Bergen show since the termites got Charley. I got some lovely Christmas cards--originals by the famous Grandma Peterson! . . .Diana, you know?. . .I used to know her! Did you hear about Jack Talbott?. . . lsn't it awful? Yes, you see he's lost weight since he became a disk iockey, and as he was putting on a long-playing record, he fell in one of the grooves and almost starved to death before he could get out! . . .Yes, awful! Jonna Beth Christman. . .now there's another sad case. She's been locked in her room for years, still writing letters to THE BIG PAYOFF . . .Yes, l'd think she'd give up too! Then too you know how she's been since Dean Kincaids' untimely accident. One day at her piano lesson while she was playing the Warsaw Concerto, Dean tripped and fell across the keyboard, and before he could get up, she beat him half to death. The other teachers are in the Old Folks Home on Mercury. The sunshine does wonders for theml Oh I went down to visit them, dear. . . Poor Mr. Blackwell has gone completely out of his. . .I mean, oh, he's a sad case. He sits all day and writes passes, even when no one's around. Mr. Snyder. . .now there's a man. After he retired, he became a big game hunter. I noticed the trophy over his fireplace was wearing a bow tie. . .Then I learned the sad fate of his hunting companion. It seems Mr. Snyder shot him mistaking him for an elephant, but he went ahead and had the head mounted anyway. You've got to make the best of it: Mrs. Belles was a filing clerk for a large finn until they put her in the A section and she had a nervous breakdown, you know how she is about A's. Mr. Endsley is still writing his book. I asked him if he liked it there, and he said, You bet your life! He seems to think he's. . . oh well, he always did look something like him. . I saw a little old man in a propellor beanie dribbling a basketball and riding a pogo stick. They said it was Mr. Carr. . .Just nervous energy, I guess. Mr. Campbell has kept up on his geometry. When I saw him, he was trisecting angles with his compass. . .What do you mean, impossible?. . .but dear, I saw him. . .WeII, he said he was trisecting angles. You don't think. . . ? Mr. Belles has taken up horseback riding. He loves to jump hurdles. Of course, he's still the gentleman he always was. . .yes, he let's the horse go over first. Heyl The water's still running in the bathtub! . . .Yes, Honey! Bye now! Sponsored by Norman H. Huff Be ye stedfast, unrnoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. I Corinthians 15:58

Senior Prophecy TELEPHONE CONVERSATION - I999 Hi Mabel. . . How are you?. . . I've only got a minute, I left the water running in the bath- tub. I wanted to tell you about my trip, because I met a lot of the l957 graduates of Northwest Christian High. . .you know the school I went to. The stewardess on my rocket ship was Marie Branda. She's got herself a good iobp she can tell everybody where to get off. They let me see the control room of the ship and visit the pilot Mary Faith Hallman. . .I used to see her around school with Flash Gordon comic books, but I never thought it would come to thisl You know, Mabel, when I was going through customs. . .huh? Oh, sure l'll wait a minute. . . Hello? Yeah, did they bum?. . .Oh, good. Well, as I said, I was going through customs, and I know the official there, Carol Bock. It was so thrilling, you see they were after some jewel smugglers and she said she'd worked herself crazy trying to find the loot. Poor Carol, still looking for a diamond. My hotel was so nice. . . No, it wasn't too expensive. Marilyn Laney and Pat Seefeldt were bellhops. . .they said they felt right at home among the old bags. Did you see last night's paper?. . .Yes, MATHERS' EXPEDITION REACHES JUPITER. Professor Gary Mathers has come a long way since high school. Besides reaching Jupiter, he is also the proud father of triplets. . .isn't that sweet? . . .And I see where Ramona Johnson is the new Miss Universe. .Yes, she was Miss Mars. I saw a lovely travel poster recently with Visit Exotic Hawaii on it. Boyl Palm trees, waves, native girls with grass skirts, leis. . .and one of them was wearing a sailor hat. . .it was Marcia Marvin, oh wait. .Marcia. .Marcia. .what's the name of that guy she married? Oh well. While I was gone I had my hair done at Coiffures by Vincent. . the famous salon, and Vincent Sterritt, the great hair dresser did my hairl I was so honored! They caught that space pirate, Long John Olson. Oh, the Space Patrol always wins out. They've been hunting her for years. I was always afraid Dennice would come to a bad end. I visited the Mar's branch of John Hopkins University. Laura Bell is the president there. . . Isn't she a brain, though? Norman Winters won the Indianapolis Speedway race. Of course, he's had lots of practice. I heard that he sped through the Milky Way and left a trail of cottage cheese. Yes. . . Larry Christian has a church now on Satum. He wears long robes and high collars, but someone ought to talk to him about his crew cut and sneakers. . .it ruins the whole impression. I heard Ruth Campbell is a hermit on Pluto. Loved and lost, I guess. It was good to get home to our great country, though. President, Jan Trull, and Vice President, Reva Dehlbom have worked wonders! Mabel, you'll never guess what I saw in town yesterday. . .I thought at first it was a parade, but it was Sheryl Rosswom and her I5 kids. She has 'em march in military formation and yells when to turn. Sponsored by DALE QUINCY - MASTER ENGRAVERS, INC. THE E. U.
