SENIQR CLASS HISTORY lt was a bright day in l953 that we, a group of livewire Freshmen, entered North- west Christian High School. Some of us were a little skeptical'those first few days, but we soon forgot ourselves in the fun and excitement of high school. Our proiect was to paint the west side of the school building. One of the terrific socials we had was taking a bike hike with Bowdeys to Whitworth for a hamburger fry. The nextyear we came roaring back as Sophomores. We sold rice crispy squares and stationery to raise money for our class. One evening we gathered at the Belden 's home for a taffy pull, which resulted in a lot of fun and fellowship despite the fact that the taffy sugared and turned greenl ln the fall of T955 we felt quite elated at the thought of being upperclassmen. Among our projects and socials for that year were hamburger sales fsteaks that didn't pass their physicali, Junior Talent Night and the Leap Year Valentine Banquet. Oh yes, we musn't forget the beautiful Junior-Senior Banquet for which we all worked so hard. Two of our classmates, Dennice Olson and Laura Bell, were elected to hold the student body offices of corresponding secretary and treasurer respectively. And now at last we are Seniors! When we entered as Frosh we thought we'd never see the big day, but now as we look back, the years seem to have fairly flown. At times we are a little sad as we think of graduation and leaving our beloved school. The five Student Body officers are all members of the Senior Class this year. Dennice Olson, President, Larry Christian, Vice President, Marlene Decker, Recording Secretary, Mary Faith Hallman, Corresponding Secretary, and Jonna Beth Christman, Treasurer. Truly it has been wonderful to have had the privilege of attending Northwest Christian Schools. We have had many exciting and long to be remembered experiences. Now in T957 we leave the halls of Northwest and say goodbye to our high school days. MADISON ST.
